Olivet Preschool Programs - Olivet New Church

The Olivet New Church School offers both a Tots' Time and Playschool program lead by experienced registered Early Childhood Educators.

The Tots' Time program is offered for toddlers 16 months to 3 years with their parent or caregiver.

Your child will:

Know that the Lord is our creator and He has a plan for us all.
Experience sensory/manipulative tables that are not limited to water, rice, sand and play dough.
Learn through educational toys and puzzles.
Use imaginative play in building block and housekeeping areas.
Climb our slide, pedal wheeled vehicles and crawl through tunnels.
Participate in structured crafts, Circle Time and activities.
Sing songs and do finger plays, listen to stories.
After Grace, enjoy a healthy snack of water, fruit and other treats.

The Playschool program is offered to children from 2.5 years old to Jk. Your pre-schooler will be independent, socialize and make the transition from home to school in a friendly and caring atmosphere.

For pre-schoolers our focus is on enhancing each child's skills in preparation for Kindergarten.

Socialization, listening skills, following directions, making choices and sharing of your child's world (Show and Tell) are emphasized through books and Bible stories and songs as we learn the Lord is always with us and loves us.

We provide:

Child and teachers directed creative activities, independent cognitive development in learning areas, an opportunity for curiosity and discovery through science and cooking activities, support for emerging literacy and pre-writing skills adapted to each child's readiness.
Daily outdoor play where physical activity is promoted through teacher-directed games and choices of play: trikes, a state-of-the-art playground and our big red tractor all make for happy and healthy children.
Specialized French and music classes, and participation in ONCS Christmas and Spring concerts.
