The Olivet New Church School believes that parents and teachers who work together will ensure the best education for our students. Our priority is to maintain happiness, order and safety in the school, where moral standards are exhibited, taught, and followed. Children are encouraged to think for themselves. It is our goal that they become civil, moral, and spiritual adults prepared for a useful life on earth and in heaven.
The School offers a comprehensive curriculum from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 6. Some of our courses are: religious studies, visual and performance arts, French, music, and physical education. Our experience has shown that our multi-grade classrooms and family atmosphere have given our students the tools they need to perform at a very high level in both our school and others to which they may transfer.
In order to ensure that our New Church curriculum incorporates provincial standards and current methods we invite Master Teachers from our organization's head office to evaluate our school and staff every year. Our goal is to combine academic excellence with moral and spiritual values so that each child will develop into a happy and successful adult.
